Accessibility

Door-knocking teams include volunteers with disabilities — one of our first campaigns told us that mattered to them, and it matters to us. Both this website and the KnockList app aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA: semantic HTML, labelled controls, full keyboard operability, a visible focus indicator on everything, AA colour contrast, and no meaning carried by colour alone.

The app itself is built on GOV.UK-style design patterns — large touch targets, plain language, sign-in codes you can paste instead of retype, and screens that work on modest phones and slow connections.

Known gaps

We say this plainly rather than claiming perfection: we test with automated tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader passes, but we have not commissioned a formal third-party audit. Long screenshot images on the product-tour page carry descriptive alt text, but the full pixel detail of those screens is not reproduced in text.
